Thinking about a home EV charger? Here's how it works, what to expect, and how to charge safely overnight.
A standard 120V outlet (Level 1) adds only a few kilometres of range per hour. A Level 2 (240V) charger — the kind we install — fully charges most EVs overnight and is the setup nearly every owner ends up wanting.
We check your panel has capacity, run a dedicated 240V circuit and breaker, mount your charger (Tesla, Grizzl-E, JuiceBox and others), route the cable cleanly, and arrange the ESA permit and inspection.
A proper install is safe, passes inspection, and won't overload your panel. If your panel is near capacity, we'll let you know honestly and give you options — sometimes a panel upgrade is the smarter long-term move.
